¹ God con tell Joshua

² make he tell the people of Israel say, “Choose safety cities wey I command Moses to tell una about.

³ A person wey kill someone by mistake fit go there and escape the one wey wan take revenge.

⁴ Him fit run away go one of the cities, run go the place of judgement for entrance to the city, and explain wetin don happen to the leaders. Dem go con allow him enter the city and give him place to dey live, so that he fit stay for there.

⁵ If the one wey dey look for revenge follow am go there, make the people of the city no hand them over to him. Dem must protect him because na by mistake he kill the person and no be say he vex kill am.

⁶ Dem fit stay for the city until dem don decide the case for court and until the man wey be High Priest at that time don die.

⁷ So, dem set aside Kedesh in Galilee, for the side of Jordan, in the hill country of Naphtali; Shechem, for hill country of Ephraim; and Hebron, for hill country of Judah.

⁸ For east of Jordan, on the desert plateau of Jericho, dem choose Bezer for territory of Reuben; Ramoth in Gilead, for territory of Gad; and Golan in Bashan, for territory of Manasseh.

⁹ Na these be the safety cities dem choose for all people of Israel and for any foreigner wey dey live among them. Anybody wey kill person by mistake fit find protection for there from the one wey wan take revenge; dem no fit kill anybody for there, if dem never decide the matter for court.
