Jonah 2
1 And Jonah pray to God as he dey inside the fish;
2 When I dey trouble, O God, I call you for help and you answer me. When I dey inside grave, I call you and you hear my voice.
3 You throw me down, go bottom of the sea, where water round me, and all your mighty waves dey roll over me.
4 I think say, now I go come go where you no go see me, and I no go see your holy Temple again.
5 The water come over me and the water cover my mouth, and I no fit breathe. I go down, down the deep sea and sea weed dey wrap round my head.
6 I dey bottom of the sea, place where mountain start, I think say I dey for prison forever, but the LORD my God take me commot from my grave. God, you give me life again!
7 When I think say my life dey go away, then O God, I pray to you, for your holy Temple you hear me.
8 Some people dey worship useless idols but those statutes never help them.
9 I go make sacrifice and praise you and I go thank you. I go make special promise to you and I go do am God na only you dey give salvation!
10 God con tell the fish, make E vomit Jonah out of him stomach go dry land.
