Isaiah 35

¹ The desert go happy and flowers go grow for wilderness.

² The desert go sing and shout for joy; e go dey beautiful like Lebanon Mountains and e go dey fertile like field of Carmel and Sharon. Everyone go see glory of God, everyone go see him greatness and power.

³ Make you give strength to hand wey don tire and give strength to knees wey dey shake with weakness.

⁴ Make una tell everyone wey dey discourage say, “Make dem dey strong and make dem no fear! God dey come to una rescue, he dey come punish una enemies.”

⁵ The blind go fit see, and the deaf go hear.

⁶ The lame go jump and dance, and those wey no fit speak go shout for joy. Stream of water go flow through the desert;

⁷ The burning sand go become lake, and spring go full dry land. Marsh grass and reed go grow, for where jackals dey live before.

⁸ Highway go dey for there, dem go call am “The Road of Holiness”. No sinners go ever travel for that road; no fool go mislead those wey dey pass the road.

⁹ No lion go dey there; no terrible animal go pass that way. Those wey God don rescue go follow that road travel home.

¹ Dem go reach Jerusalem with happiness, and them go dey sing and shout for joy. Dem go dey happy for ever, dem go dey free from sorrow and pain for ever.
