Isaiah 24

¹ God dey come destroy the earth and he go empty am. He go twist the earth surface and scatter hin people.

² Na same thing go happen to Everybody- the priest and people, slaves and master, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, rich and poor.

³ The earth go scatter and destroy. God don talk and na so e go be.

⁴ The earth dey dry and fade; the whole world dey weak; both earth and sky dey spoil.

⁵ The people don destroy the earth as dem dey break the laws of God and as dem dey disobey the covenant wey he don make to last forever.

⁶ So God don pronounce curse on the earth. Hin people dey pay for wetin dem don do. Na only few of dem go survive.

⁷ Grapevine dey dry and wine dey spoil. people wey dey happy before dey sad,

⁸ And joyful music of their harps and drum don stop.

⁹ Happy singing over wine no dey again; dem don stop to show their joy.

¹ Everything dey in disorder in the city, and people dey lock themselves for inside their house so dat dem fit dey safe.

¹ People dey shout for street because wine no dey again. Happiness don go for ever, he don send happiness commot from that land

¹ This city don perish, and hin gate don break down.

¹ Na wetin go happen for every nation all over the world be this. E go be like end of harvest, when them don commot olives from every trees and commot the last grapes from the vines.

¹ Those wey survive go sing for joy. Those wey dey west go tell how great God be,

¹ And those for east go praise him. People wey dey live along the sea go praise the LORD, the God of Israel.

¹ We go hear song in praise of Israel, the righteous nation from place wey far pass in the world. But I no get hope! I dey waste away! Betrayers continue to dey betray, and their deceit dey grow worse and worse.

¹ Everyone, make una hear me! Terror, pit, and trap dey wey dey wait for una.

¹ Everyone wey dey try escape from the terror go fall for inside pit, and trap go catch anyone wey escape from the pit. heavy rain go fall from the sky, and foundation of the earth go shake.

¹ The earth go crack and scatter and split open.

² The earth go stagger like man wey don high and e go shake like shelter wey dey inside storm. Na sin dey bring down the world; e go perish and e no go rise again.

² Time dey come when God go punish the power wey dey above and the ruler of the earth.

² God go gather kings together like prisoners wey dey inside pit. He go put them for inside prison until time don reach for their punishment.

² The moon go turn dark, and the sun no go shine again, because the LORD Almighty go be king. He go rule for Jerusalem on Mount Zion, and the leaders of people go see him glory.
