1 Na the message wey God give Isaiah son of amoz about Judah and Jerusalem be this:
2 Day go come, the mountain where the Temple dey stand go be the highest among all, wey go tall pass the hills. Plenty nations go run come meet am,
3 And their people go talk say, "Make we go on top the hill of the LORD, go the Temple of God of Israel. He go teach us wetin he want make wey do; we go waka for way wey he don choose. Because the teaching of God dey come from Jerusalem; he dey speak to him people from Zion."
4 He go settle fight among great nations. Dem go harmer their sword for ridges and their spears for knives. Nations no go ever prepare for battle again.
5 Now, descendant of Jacob, make we waka in the light wey God don give us!
6 O God, you don forsake your people, the descendant of Jacob! Na magic practice full the land from east and from Philistia. The people dey follow foreign practice.
7 Na silver and gold full their land, and their treasures no get end. Horses full their land, and their chariot no get end.
8 Idols full their land, and dem dey worship the object wey dem make with their own hands.
9 Shame and disgrace go catch everyone. Make you no forgive them, God!
10 Dem go hide for cave in the rocky hill or dig hole for ground so them fit escape from anger of God and to hide from him power and glory!
11 A day dey come when pride of human go end and human strong head go spoil. Then the name of God alone go be exalted.
12 The Almighty God go humble anybody wey get power that day, anyone wey get pride and wey think say e dey superior.
13 He go destroy the cedar of Lebanon and all the oaks for the land of Bashan.
14 He go level the high mountain and hills,
15 Every high tower, and wall of every strong mountain.
16 He go sink the largest and most beautiful ships.
17 Human pride go end, and human strong head go spoil.
18 Idols go disappear completely, and on that day na only God go be praise.
19 People go hide in cave for the rocky hill or dig holes for ground so dem fit escape from anger of God and so dem fit escape from him power and glory, when he shake the earth.
20 When that day show, dem go throw the silver and gold idols wey dem don make, and dem go abandon them to the most and bad.
21 When God come con shake the earth, people go hide for holes and cave for the rocky hills to escape from him anger and to hide from him power and glory.
22 Make una no put trust in human again, wetin be their use?
