Genesis 21
1 God con bless Sarah as he done promise,
2 and she get belle and born a son to Abraham wen he dey old. Dem born the boy wen God talk say den go born am
3 Abraham con name him Isaac,
4 and wen Isaac reach 8 days old, Abraham circumcised him as God don command,
5 Abraham na 100 years old wen dem born Isaac.
6 Sarah con say, "God don bring me joy and laughter, everyone wey hear about am go laugh with me.
7 Who go fit tell Abraham say Sarah go become mother one day, yet I don born a son to Abraham for him old age."
8When Isaac don grow up and time don reach to stop to dey give him breast milk, Abraham celebrate the occasion.
9 Because Sarah see as Ishmael son of Abraham and Egyptian servant Hagar
10 dey make fun of her son Isaac, naso she turn to Abraham and tell him say, "Get rid of that woman and her son. That son no go share your inheritance with my son Isaac.11Abraham con begin dey worry because Ishmael na him son.
12 But God tell Abraham say, "No worry about the boy and your slave Hagar. Do anything wey Sarah tell you, because na through Isaac you go get the descendant wey I don promise you.
13 But I go make a nation out of descendant of Hagar son, because he be your son too."
14 Naso Abraham get up early next morning, he prepare food and water inside container and he put am for Hagar shoulder, he con send her away with their son, and she begin dey wander inside desert of Beersheba.
15 When the water don finish, she put her son for shade of bush,
16 she con go sit down alone, and she begin dey cry say, "I no wan watch this boy die"
17 But God come hear as the boy dey cry, and angel of God con call Hagar from heaven, "Hagar wetin dey wrong? No fear. God don hear as the boy dey cry for where he dey.
18 Go meet him and comfort him. I go make great nation from him descendant.
19 God come open Hagar eye, and she see a well wey dey full of water. She quickly full her water container and she give the boy water to drink
20 And God come dey with the boy as he dey grow up for desert. He con become a skillful hatcher and he settle for desert of Haran.
21 Him mother con arrange a woman for him to marry from land of Egypt 22About this time, Abimelech come with Phicol, him army commander, to visit Abraham and he tell him say, "God really dey with you and he dey help you with everything wey you dey do .
23 I wan make you swear to me in God name say, you no go ever deceive me, my children, or any of my descendants. I don dey loyal to you, I wan make you swear say you go dey loyal to me, and to this country wey you dey live as foreigner.
24 Abraham come reply, "Yes I swear".
25 Abraham complain to Abimelech about the well wey Abimelech servant don take by force from Abraham servant.
26 Abimelech come say, "Na the first time wey I dey hear am be this. I no get idea of who dey responsible for am, you never complain about this kind thing before.
27 Abraham come give some of him sheep, goat, and cattle to Abimelech and two of them con reach agreement. 28Abraham come separate seven lamb from him animal,
29 and Abimelech come ask him say "Why you do that?".
30Abraham answered, "Accept these seven lambs. As you dey accept am, you dey agree say na me dig this well".
31 Naso dem call the place Beersheba, because na the place wey two of them get agreement.
32 After dem don get this agreement for Beersheba, Abimelech and Phicol go back to Philistia.
33 Abraham come plant tamarisk tree for Beersheba and for there, he worship the LORD, Everlasting God.
34 Abraham come live as foreigner for Philistine country for a long time.
