Genesis 13

¹ Naso Abram leave Egypt and travel go north into Negev with him wife and Lot and everything wey dem get.

² Abram dey very rich in animals, silver and gold.

³ From Negev, dem continue to dey travel gradually go near Bethel and Ai where dem don camp before.

⁴ Na same place wey Abram don build altar, and for there dem worship God again.

⁵ Lot wey dey travel with Abram don become very rich with plenty sheep and goat, cattle and plenty tent.

⁶ But the land no fit contain Abram and Lot with their animals to dey close together.

⁷ Naso fight start between herdsmen of Abram and Lot. (That time Canaanites and Perusites dey also live for the land.)

⁸ Abram come tell Lot say make we no allow this fight come between us and our men, we be family.

⁹ The whole country side dey open to you, take any part of the land you want and we go separate. If na land to left you want, I go take the one to right. if na the right side you want, I go take left.

¹⁰ Lot come take long look at fertile land of Jordan valley wey dey direction of Zoa. The area get enough water like garden of God or beautiful land of Egypt. Na before God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah be this.

¹¹ Lot choose the whole Jordan valley go east for himself, he go there with him animals and servants and him path ways with him uncle Abram.

¹² Naso Abram settle for land of Canaan and Lot move him tent near Sodom and settle among cities for plane.

¹³ But people wey dey this area dey very wicked and dem dey always sin to God. 14After Lot don go, God tell Abram say, "look as far as you fit see in all direction - north, south, east, west.

¹⁵ I dey give all the land as far as you fit see to you and your descendants.

¹⁶ And I go give you descendants wey go plenty like dust of earth, wey nobody fit count.

¹⁷ Go walk through the land for every direction, because I dey give am to you.

¹⁸ Naso Abram move him tent to Hebron and settle near oak grove wey belong to Mamre. Na there he build another altar to God.
