Ezekiel 34

¹ God speak to me.

² He talk say, "Son of man", speak against rulers of Israel, prophesy give them and tell them wetin I, the Almighty God dey tell them: Una do enter trouble, una shepherd of Israel! Una dey take care of una self, but una no dey take care of the sheep.

³ Una dey drink milk, dey wear cloth wey una made from wool, and una kill and chop the sheep wey fine pass, but una no take care of the sheep.

⁴ Una n take care of the one wey weak, or heal the one wey sick, bandage those wey get wound, bring back those wey dey walk up and down, or look for the one wey don lost, instead una dey treat them badly.

⁵ Because the sheep no get shepherd, dem scatter, and wild animal kill and chop dem.

⁶ So my sheep dey go up and down on top mountain and high hill. Dem scatter all over the earth and no one look for them or try find them.

⁷ "Now, you shepherd make una listen to wetin I, the Almighty God, dey tell una.

⁸ As surely as I be living God, una better listen to wetin I dey tell una. Wild animal don attack my sheep wey don kill and chop them because dem no get shepherd. My shepherd no try find the sheep, de only dey take care of theirselves and dem no take care of my sheep.

⁹ So make una listen to me, you shepherd.

¹⁰ I, the Almighty God, do talk say I be una enemy. I go carry my sheep away from una and una no go be their shepherd again; I no go never allow una take care of una self alone. I go rescue my sheep from una and no go allow una to dey chop them.

¹¹ "I, the Almighty God, dey tell una say I myself go look for my sheep and I go take care of them

¹² In the same way wey shepherd dey take care of their sheep wey don scatter and bring dem come back together again. I go bring dem come back from everywhere wey dem scatter on that dark, and terrible day.

¹³ I go carry dem commot for foreign country, I go gather them together and carry dem come their own land. I go lead them go back the mountain and stream of Israel and I go feed them for pleasant field.

¹⁴ I go lead them go field wey get grass. Dem go go high place on top mountain of Israel and dem lie down for good ground and go chop the grass. Dem go chop from rich grass on top mountain of Israel.

¹⁵ I myself go be shepherd of my sheep, I go find place to rest for them. I, the Almighty God don speak.

¹⁶ "I go look for those wey don lost, I go bring back wey dey walk up and down, put bandage for those wey get wound, heal those wey sick; but I go destroy those wey fat and strong, because I be the shepherd wey dey do right thing.

¹⁷ "Now then, my flock, I, the Almighty God, dey tell una say I go judge each of una and I go separate the good from the bad, I go separate sheep from goat.

¹⁸ Some una no satisfy as una dey chop best grass; una even match the one wey una no chop! Una dey drink clear water and put mud to the one wey una no drink!

¹⁹ My other sheep go chop the grass wey una don match for ground and drink the water wey una don carry mud put.

²⁰ "So now, I, the Almighty God, dey tell una say I go judge between una strong sheep

and weak sheep.

²¹ You push the one wey sick for one side and you push dem commot from the flock.

²² But I go rescue mu sheep and I no go allow una ill-treat dem again. I go judge each of my sheep and I go separate the good from bad one.

²³ I go give them king wey go be like my servant David make he be their only shepherd, and he go take care of them.

²⁴ I, the LORD, go be their God, and a king like my servant David go be their ruler. I don speak.

²⁵ I go make covenant with them wey guarantee their security. I go kill all the dangerous animal wey dey the land, so that my sheep fit live safely for field and dem go fit sleep for the forest.

²⁶ "I go bless them and I go allow dem live round my holy hill. And I go bless them there with showers of rain when dem need am.

²⁷ The tree go bear fruit, fields go produce crop, and everyone go life in safety for his own land. When I set my people free and break their chain from those wey take them as slave, na then them go know say I be God.

²⁸ Heathen nation no go rob them again, and the wild animal no go kill or chop them again. Dem go live in safety and no ne go trouble them again.

²⁹ I go give them good land and hunger no go dey their land again. Other nations no go make fun of them again.

³⁰ Everyone go know say na me protect Israel and dem go know say dem be my people, I the Almighty God, don talk.

³¹ Almighty talk say, "You, my sheep, the flock wey I dey feed, be my people, and I be una God,"
