Exodus 9
1 God con tell Moses say, "Go back, go meet Pharaoh. Tell him say na wetin the LORD, God of Hebrew talk be this: Allow my people go, so that dem fit go worship me.
2 If you continue to dey hold them and you no allow them go,
3 hand of God go hit your animals with terrible disease " your horse, sheep, donkey, camel, cattle, and goat.
4 But, I go separate Israelite animals from Egyptian animals, so that all animal wey belong to Israelites no go die.
5 God don set time when the thing go happen. He don talk say na tomorrow e go happen.
6 God dey do wetin he say he go do. For next morning, all Egyptian animal die, but Israelite no loose any animal.
7 Pharaoh send him servants go find out wetin happen, and dem find out say Israelite no loose any animal. But Pharaoh heart still remain stubborn, and he still no allow people go.
8 Naso God tell Moses and Aaron say, "Pack ash make e full your hand; make Moses throway am inside air for front of Pharaoh.
9 Dem go spread like dust over Egypt, and for everywhere dem go produce boil wey go turn wound for people and animal." 10Naso dem get ash and stand for front of Pharaoh; Moses throway them for air, and dem produce boil wey turn wound for people and animal body.
11 The magicians no fit come Moses front, because boil don cover their body as e don cover other Egyptians.
12 God make Pharaoh stubborn, as he don talk am say, Pharaoh no go listen to Moses and Aaron.
13 God come tell Moses, "Go meet Pharaoh for early morning, tell him the LORD, God of Hebrew talk say, "allow my people go so that dem fit go worship me.
14 For this time I no go punish your servant and your people alone, I go punish you join, so that you go know say nobody be like me for whole world.
15 If I don use my hand hit you and your people, una for don perish.
16 For you to know my power I allow you live, so that I go get fame for the whole world.
17 Yet you still dey do strong head, and you know allow my people go.
18 This kind time tomorrow, I go send una heavy hailstorm, the kind one wey never happen for Egypt before.
19 Command say make dem pack your animal wey dey outside, make dem pack them inside. Hail go fall on top people and animal wey dey outside, and dem go die.
20 Some of Pharaoh servant begin to dey fear because of wetin God don talk. Dem rush pack all their animal inside.
21 But some wey no take wetin God talk serious leave their animal for outside.
22 God come tell Moses say, "Carry your hand go up make you point am for sky make hail fall on top people, animal, and all plant for land of Egypt."
23 Naso Moses lift him walking stick for sky, God come send thunder and hail, and lightning come flash earth. God come send serious hailstorm against Egypt.
24 That kind storm never happen for Egypt before.
25 The hail hit everything wey dey outside for Egypt, plus people and animal. E destroy all plant and even all tree fall down.
26 Only place wey storm no reach na Goshen, wey be the place wey Israel people dey live.
27 Pharaoh quickly call Moses and Aaron. He begin dey confess say, "I don sin this time. Na God be righteous one, and me and my people dey wrong.
28 Abeg help me beg God, make he stop this terrible thunder and storm. E don do. I go allow una go; una no need to stay again."
29 Moses say, "No wahala. When I dey commot for city, I go lift my hand and pray to God. Then, thunder and storm go stop, and you go know say na God get earth.
30 But I know say you and your servant still never fear God."
31 Storm don destroy flax and barley, because barley don ripe, and flax don dey bud too.
32 But nothing do wheat, because dem never commot for ground.
33 Naso Moses leave Pharaoh side, and he commot for the city. When he lift him hand to God, thunder and storm come stop. The rain stop too.
34 As Pharaoh see say rain, storm, and thunder don stop, him and him servant begin to dey sin again, and he begin him strong head again.
35 Because say Pharaoh dey stubborn, he no allow them go, as God don talk am.
