Exodus 7

¹ God tell him say, "I go make you be like God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother go speak to the king as your prophet.

² Tell Aaron everything wey I don command you, and he go command Pharaoh to allow Israelites leave him country.

³ But I go make Pharaoh stubborn so that I fit multiply my miracle sign and wonder for Egypt.

⁴ And Pharaoh no go listen to you. So I go bring down my terrible anger on Egypt. Then I go rescue my people out of Egypt.

⁵ When I raise my powerful hand and bring out Israelites, the Egyptians go know say I be the LORD."

⁶ Na so Moses and Aaron do wetin the God don command them.

⁷ Moses na eighty years old, and Aaron na eighty-three years old when dem make demand from Pharaoh.

⁸ God come tell Moses and Aaron say,

⁹ "Pharaoh go demand say, "Show me miracle." Then you go tell Aaron say, "Take your walking stick and drop am for front of Pharaoh, and e go turn snake.""

¹⁰ Naso Moses and Aaron go meet Pharaoh, and dem do wetin God don command dem to do. Aaron come throw him walking stick down for front of Pharaoh and him chiefs, and e turn to snake.

¹⁶ Announce to him say, "the LORD, God of Hebrews don send me to tell you, "Let my people go, so that dem fit go worship me for desert. "Until now, you don refuse to listen to him.

¹⁹ Naso God tell Moses say, "Tell Aaron, "Make he take him walking stick and raise am on top waters of Egypt. Turn all water to blood. For everywhere in Egypt, their water go turn blood, even the water wey dem store inside pot and bowl.""

²⁰ Moses and Aaron come do wetin God don command them to do. As Pharaoh and him chiefs dey watch. Aaron raise him walking stick, and he use am strike the water of Nile. The whole river come turn blood suddenly!

²¹ The fish wey dey inside the river die, the water begin to dey smell and the Egyptians no fit drink am. Blood come full everywhere for land of Egypt.

²² But magicians of Egypt use their magic turn water to blood. Na so Pharaoh heart remain hard. He no listen to Moses and Aaron, as God don predict am.
