Exodus 40
1 God tell Moses say,
2 "On first day of the month, make una set up the Tent of the Tabernacle.
3 Put the Ten Commandments inside the Covenant Box and put curtain for the front.
4 Bring the table in and set the equipment on am. Also bring in the lampstand make una set lamp on am.
5 Put the gold altar for burning incense for front of the Covenant Box and hang curtain for entrance of the Tent.
6 Put the altar to dey burn offering for front of the Tent.
7 Put the washbasin between the Tent and the altar and fill am with water.
8 Put the surrounding enclosure up and hang the curtain for the entrance.
9 Then use anointing oil dedicate the Tent and all the equipment, and e go dey holy.
10 Use anointing dedicate the altar and the equipment, and e go holy completely.
11 Make you dedicate the washbasin and the stand same way.
12 "Bring Aaron and him son to entrance of Tent make dem take ritual bath.
13 Dress Aaron with priest garment, anoint am, and consecrate am for this way, so that he fit serve me as priest.
14 Bring him sons and put the shirts on them.
15 Anoint them just as you don anoint their father, so that dem fit serve me as priests. This anointing go make them priest for all time to come."
16 Moses do everything just as God don command.
17 Naso dem set up the Tabernacle Tent on the first day of first month of the second year after dem leave Egypt.
18 Moses put the bases down, set up the frames, attach the crossbars, and put the posts up.
19 He come spread the cover over the Tent and put outer cover over am, just as God don command.
20 He come take the two stone tablets and put am inside Covenant Box. He put the poles in rings of the box and put cover on am.
21 He put the box inside Tent and hang the curtain up. This way, he don cover the Covenant Box, just as God don command.
22 He put the table inside Tent, for the north side, outside the curtain,
23 and he put the bread wey dem offer to God on top am, just as God don command.
24 He put lampstand inside Tent, for the south side opposite the table,
25 and for God presence he light the lamps, just as God don command.
26 He put gold altar inside Tent, for front of the curtain,
27 and he burn the sweet-smelling incense, just as God don command.
28 He hang the curtain for entrance of the Tent,
29 and for front of the curtain he put the altar for burning offerings. He sacrifice burnt offering and grain offering, just as God don command.
30 He put the washbasin between the Tent and altar and fill am with water.
31 Moses, Aaron, and him sons wash their hands and feet for there
32 anytime dem go inside the Tent or the altar, just as God don command.
33 Moses set up enclosure round the Tent and the altar and hang curtain for entrance of enclosure. Naso he finish all the work.
34 Cloud come cover the Tent and glorious light of God presence come full am.
35 Because of am, Moses no fit enter the Tent.
36 The Israelites dey move their camp anytime the cloud lift from the Tent.
37 Dem no dey move their camp when the cloud no move.
38 For the time wey dem dey wander, dem dey see cloud of God presence over their Tent for day and burning fire on top am for night.
