Exodus 31

¹ God tell Moses say,

² "I don choose Bezalel, son of Uri and grandson of Hur, from tribe of Judah,

³ and I don fill am with my power. I don give am understanding, skill, and ability for every kind artist work "

⁴ to dey plan skillful designs and work them in gold, silver, and bronze;

⁵ to dey cut jewels wey dem go set; to dey carve wood; and for every kind art work.

⁶ I don also select Oholiab son of Ahisamach, from tribe of Dan, make he work with him. I don also give great ability to other skilled workers, so that dem fit build everything wey I command una to make:

⁷ the Tabernacle, the Covenant Box and cover, all furnishing of the Tabernacle,

⁸ the table and accessories, the lamp of pure gold and accessories, the wash basin and stand,

¹⁰ the magnificent priest garment for Aaron and him sons to use when dem dey serve as priests,

¹¹ the anointing oil, and sweet-smelling incense for Holy Place. When dem dey build all these things, make dem do exactly as I don command you.

¹² God command Moses

¹³ make he tell people of Israel say, "Keep Sabbath day, my rest day, because na sign between you and me for all time to come, to show say I, the LORD, don make una my own people.

¹⁴ Una must keep rest day, because e dey holy. Anyone wey no keep am, wey dey work on that day, make una kill am.

¹⁵ Una get six days to dey work, but the seventh day na solemn day of rest wey be my own. Anyone wey work that day, make una kill am.

¹⁶ Make people of Israel dey keep this as sign of covenant.

¹⁷ Na permanent sign between me and people of Israel, because I, the LORD, create heaven and earth in six days and for seventh day I stop to dey work and rest.

¹⁸ When God don finish to dey talk to Moses on top Mount Sinai, he give am the two stones tablets wey God himself don write the commandments.
