Exodus 1

7 But, their descendant, the Israelites, born plenty pikin and dem dey very powerful and dem come multiply full Egypt.
8 A new king wey no know anything about Joseph come enter power.
9 He tell him people, "See, Israelites don plenty pass us and dem dey strong pass us.
10 We suppose make plan make dem no grow more. If war come, dem fit join enemy fight us, and dem go run commot from the country.
11 Na so Egyptians turn Israelites to slaves. Dem put them under wicked slave drivers, so that dem fit make them weak wit hard labor. Dem force them build Pithom cities and Remeses wey be supply center for king.
12 But as the Egyptians dey oppress them, naso dem dey multiply, and naso Egyptians dey fear them.

15 Pharaoh, king of Egypt come command Hebrew midwives, "Shiphral and Puah".

21 Because say midwives get fear of God, he dey good to them and he give them their own family. Na so Israelites dey multiply and dey get stronger.
22 Pharaoh come command him people say: "Make una throw every newborn Hebrew boy inside Nile River. But, make una leave girls"
