Deuteronomy 21

¹ Suppose say una find the body of the person for a field in the land wey the LORD una God dey give una, and nobody know who kill the person.

² The judges and other leaders from towns wey dey around there must find out which town dey close to where dem find the dead body.

³ The leaders from that town go come go to where dem dey keep their cattle and choose a young cow wey dem never use do any work before.

⁵ Dem and some of the priests go take this cow go valley wey dey near wey get stream, but wey no get crops. When dem reach the valley, make the leaders break the cow neck. The priest must dey there, because the LORD una God don choose them to be him special servants for place of worship. God don choose them to bless the people for him name and make dem be judges for legal cases, whether e involve property or wound.

⁶ The town leaders go wash their hand on top the body of the dead cow

⁷ and say, "We no get part for this killing, and we no know who do am.

⁹ But since na innocent person die, we beg you, our LORD, take this sacrifice and forgive Israel. We be your people, and na you save us. Abeg no put this crime for our head." If una obey God and do these things, he go forgive Israel.

²⁰ Make the parent tell the leaders say, "This our son dey stubborn and he no dey obey. He dey use all him money to dey drink and go party."
