¹ King Nebuchadnezzar get gold statue wey be 27 metre tall and e big reach three metre. He set am up for Dura valley wey dey near Babylon city,

² and he command all him governors, advisors, treasurer, judges, and all him official make dem come him kingdom come dedicate the statue.

³ Na so all of dem come stand for front of the statue.

⁴ One official announce for loud voice say, una people of every nation and race, now make una listen to the command wey king don give!

⁵ Una go hear the sound of trumpet, follow by playing of oboes, lyres, zithers, and harps; and then all other instrument go join. And when the music don start una go bow down to worship the statue wey King Nebuchadnezzar don set up.

⁶ Anybody wey no bow down to worship am, na inside fire we go throw am immediately."

⁷ So, as dem hear the sound of the instrument, all people of nation, race, and language bow down and worship the gold statue wey king Nebuchadnezzar don set up.

⁸ Some Babylonians con use the chance take report the jews to king Nebuchadnezzar.

⁹ Dem talk say, "Your Majesty, we pray say you live forever!

¹⁰ You command everyone make dem bow down worship the gold statue as the music play.

¹¹ and you talk say anyone wey no bow down go be put inside fire.

¹² Sir, you appoint three men to high position for Babylonia province, but dem don disobey you. Those jews, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego don refuse to worship your god and the statue wey you set up."

¹³ King Nebuchadnezzar vex, so he say make dem go bring the three young men come before am.

¹⁴ He tell them say, I hear say una no worship my god and the gold statue wey I don set up.

¹⁵ Now I go give una the second chance. If una bow down and worship the statue after the music, everything go dey alright. But if una no bow down and worship, una go enter fire once. And no god fit save una for my hand."

¹⁶ The three of dem reply say, "Your Majesty, we no need defend ourself.

¹⁷ The God wey we dey worship go defend us from your fire.

¹⁸ But even, if he no defend us, we no go worship your god and the statue wey you don set up.

¹⁹ Nebuchadnezzar con vex so tey him face turn red with anger for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. So he talk say make dem heat the furnace seven times as e dey be before.

²⁰ He come command some of him strong soldier make dem tie the three men throw dem for inside the flaming fire.

²³ The king wan make dem do am that moment, so the soldier tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and throw dem inside the fire with their clothes for their body and with their turban. The fire hot so tey the flame burn the soldiers.

²⁴ Nebuchadnezzar stand up suddenly dey shout say, "No be three men we tie throw for fire?" him officers talk say, "Yes, Your Majesty

²⁵ The king say, but na four men I dey see dey waka around inside the fire," dem no dey tied up or hurt anywhere, all of dem, and the fourth one be like god"

²⁶ Nebuchadnezzar go near the fire tell the three young men say, "Una servants of the most high God, make una come outside at once." Na so dem come out.

²⁷ and the high official of the king, governor, with advisor all of dem surround dem. Fire no burn the men, them no catch fire and their clothes no even smell smoke.

²⁸ King Nebuchadnezzar talk say, praise their God wey send angel to rescue him servant! Dem trust their God, refuse to obey my command. Yes, dem chose to die than to worship any other god.

²⁹ And I no go allow anybody of any nation or race talk anything against their God. Anybody wey do am go die and their house go dey destroyed, because no other god get this kind power to safe.

³⁰ After this don happen, the king promote Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego go higher position for province of Babylon.
