Daniel 12

¹ The angel wey dey wear linen cloth talk say, "Na that time the great angel Michael, wey guard una people go appear. Time of trouble go dey, the kind one wey never happen before. since the earth don form. When that day come, all the people of una nation wey their name dey for book of God go dey saved.

² Plenty of dem wey don die go live again: some go enjoy eternal life, and some go suffer eternal disgrace.

³ The wise leaders go shine with all the brightness of the sky. And those wey don teach people to dey do right thing go shine like stars forever."

⁴ He tell me say, "Now, Daniel, close the book and put seal on am till the end of the world. Plenty people go waste their effort to know wetin dey happen."

⁵ Then I come see two men dey stand beside river, one man for each side.

⁶ One of dem come ask the angel wey dey stand for front say, "How long e go be before this amazing event end?"

⁷ The angel come raise him two hand for heaven and use name of Eternal God make promise. I hear him talk say, "E go be three and half years. The power of God people go break, and by then all these things go finally happen."

⁸ I hear wetin he talk, but I no understand am. Naso I ask say, "But, sir, how e go all take end?"

⁹ He answer me say, "Daniel, come dey go now, because all these word suppose be secret until the end come.

¹⁰ Many people go dey holy. Wicked people no go understand and dem go continue to dey do evil; na only wise ones go understand.

¹¹ "From the time wey daily sacrifice don stop, that is, from the time wey terrible things don start, 1,290 days go pass.

¹² People wey remain faithful after 1,335 days don finish, go dey happy!

¹³ "And you Daniel, make you dey faithful till the end. Then you go die, but you go rise to receive your reward for end of time."
