1 NIGBATI Oluwa mu ikólọ Sioni pada, awa dabi ẹniti nla alá.
1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
2 Nigbana li ẹnu wa kún fun ẹrin, ati ahọn wa kọ orin: nigbana ni nwọn wi ninu awọn keferi pe, Oluwa ṣe ohun nla fun wọn.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.
3 Oluwa ṣe ohun nla fun wa: nitorina awa nyọ̀.
3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
4 Oluwa mu ikólọ wa pada, bi iṣan-omi ni gusu.
4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.
5 Awọn ti nfi omije fún irugbin yio fi ayọ ka.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
6 Ẹniti nfi ẹkun rìn lọ, ti o si gbé irugbin lọwọ, lõtọ, yio fi ayọ̀ pada wá, yio si rù iti rẹ̀.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
