1 NIGBATI ọjọ isimi si kọja, Maria Magdalene, ati Maria iya Jakọbu, ati Salome rà turari ki nwọn ba wá lati fi kùn u.

1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

2 Ni kutukutu owurọ̀ ọjọ kini ọ̀sẹ, nwọn wá si ibi iboji nigbati õrùn bẹ̀rẹ si ilà.

2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

3 Nwọn si mba ara wọn ṣe aroye, wipe, Tani yio yi okuta kuro li ẹnu ibojì na fun wa?

3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

4 Nigbati nwọn si wò o, nwọn ri pe a ti yi okuta na kuro: nitoripe o tobi gidigidi.

4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

5 Nigbati nwọn si wọ̀ inu ibojì na, nwọn ri ọmọkunrin kan joko li apa ọtún, ti o wọ̀ agbada funfun; ẹ̀ru si ba wọn.

5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

6 O si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ má bẹ̀ru: ẹnyin nwá Jesu ti Nasareti, ti a kàn mọ agbelebu: o jinde; kò si nihinyi: ẹ wò ibi ti nwọn gbé tẹ́ ẹ si.

6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

7 Ṣugbọn ẹ lọ, ki ẹ si wi fun awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ ati Peteru pe, o ṣaju nyin lọ si Galili: nibẹ̀ li ẹnyin ó gbe ri i, bi o ti wi fun nyin.

7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

9 Nigbati Jesu jinde li owurọ̀ kutukutu ni ijọ kini ọ̀sẹ, o kọ́ fi ara hàn fun Maria Magdalene, lara ẹniti o ti lé ẹmi èṣu meje jade.

9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

10 On si lọ sọ fun awọn ti o ti mba a gbé, bi nwọn ti ngbàwẹ, ti nwọn si nsọkun.

10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

11 Ati awọn, nigbati nwọn si gbọ́ pe o ti di alãye, ati pe, on si ti ri i, nwọn kò gbagbọ.

11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

12 Lẹhin eyini, o si fi ara hàn fun awọn meji ninu wọn li ọna miran, bi nwọn ti nrìn li ọ̀na, ti nwọn si nlọ si igberiko.

12 After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

13 Nwọn si lọ isọ fun awọn iyokù: nwọn kò si gbà wọn gbọ́ pelu.

13 And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

14 Lẹhinna o si fi ara hàn fun awọn mọkanla bi nwọn ti joko tì onje, o si ba aigbagbọ́ ati lile àiya wọn wi, nitoriti nwọn ko gbà awọn ti o ti ri i gbọ́ lẹhin igbati o jinde.

14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

15 O si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ lọ si gbogbo aiye, ki ẹ si ma wasu ihinrere fun gbogbo ẹda.

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 Ẹniti o ba gbagbọ́, ti a ba si baptisi rẹ̀ yio là; ṣugbọn ẹniti kò ba gbagbọ́ yio jẹbi.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 Àmi wọnyi ni yio si ma ba awọn ti o gbagbọ́ lọ; Li orukọ mi ni nwọn o ma lé awọn ẹmi èṣu jade; nwọn o si ma fi ède titun sọ̀rọ;

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 Nwọn o si ma gbé ejò lọwọ; bi nwọn ba si mu ohunkohun ti o li oró, kì yio pa wọn lara rara: nwọn o gbé ọwọ́ le awọn ọlọkunrun, ara wọn ó da.

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

19 Bẹ̃ni nigbati Oluwa si ti ba wọn sọ̀rọ tan, a si gbà a lọ soke ọrun, o si joko li ọwọ́ ọtún Ọlọrun.

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20 Nwọn si jade lọ, nwọn si nwasu nibigbogbo, Oluwa si mba wọn ṣiṣẹ, o si nfi idi ọ̀rọ na kalẹ, nipa àmi ti ntẹ̀le e. Amin.

20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
