1 NIGBANA ni Debora on Baraki ọmọ Abinoamu kọrin li ọjọ́ na, wipe,
1 Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
2 Nitori bi awọn olori ti ṣaju ni Israeli, nitori bi awọn enia ti fi tinutinu wá, ẹ fi ibukún fun OLUWA.
2 Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
3 Ẹ gbọ́, ẹnyin ọba; ẹ feti nyin silẹ, ẹnyin ọmọ alade; emi, ani emi, o kọrin si OLUWA; emi o kọrin iyìn si OLUWA, Ọlọrun Israeli.
3 Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
4 OLUWA, nigbati iwọ jade kuro ni Seiri, nigbati iwọ nyan jade lati pápa Edomu wá, ilẹ mìtiti, awọn ọrun si kánsilẹ, ani awọsanma pẹlu kán omi silẹ.
4 LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, the clouds also dropped water.
5 Awọn òke nla yọ́ niwaju OLUWA, ani Sinai yọ́ niwaju OLUWA; Ọlọrun Israeli.
5 The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
6 Li ọjọ́ Ṣamgari ọmọ Anati, li ọjọ́ Jaeli, awọn ọ̀na opópo da, awọn èro si nrìn li ọ̀na ìkọ̀kọ̀.
6 In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways.
7 Awọn olori tán ni Israeli, nwọn tán, titi emi Debora fi dide, ti emi dide bi iya ni Israeli.
7 The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.
8 Nwọn ti yàn ọlọrun titun; nigbana li ogun wà ni ibode: a ha ri asà tabi ọ̀kọ kan lãrin ẹgba ogún ni Israeli bi?
8 They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
9 Àiya mi fà si awọn alaṣẹ Israeli, awọn ti nwọn fi tinutinu wá ninu awọn enia: ẹ fi ibukún fun OLUWA.
9 My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD.
10 Ẹ sọ ọ, ẹnyin ti ngùn kẹtẹkẹtẹ funfun, ẹnyin ti njoko lori ẹni daradara, ati ẹnyin ti nrìn li ọ̀na.
10 Speak, ye that ride on white asses, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
11 They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.
12 Jí, jí, Debora; Jí, jí, kọ orin: dide, Baraki, ki o si ma kó awọn igbekun rẹ ni igbekun, iwọ ọmọ Abinoamu.
12 Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
13 Nigbana ni iyokù ninu awọn ọlọ̀tọ ati awọn enia sọkalẹ; OLUWA sọkalẹ sori awọn alagbara fun mi.
13 Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.
14 Lati Efraimu ni nwọn ti wá awọn ti gbongbo wọn wà ni Amaleki; lẹhin rẹ, Benjamini, lãrin awọn enia rẹ; lati Makiri ni awọn alaṣẹ ti sọkalẹ wá, ati lati Sebuluni li awọn ẹniti nmú ọ̀pá-oyè lọwọ.
14 Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
15 Awọn ọmọ-alade Issakari wà pẹlu Debora; bi Issakari ti ri, bẹ̃ni Baraki; nwọn sure li ẹsẹ̀ lọ si afonifoji na. Ni ipadò Reubeni ni ìgbero pupọ̀ wà.
15 And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.
16 Ẽṣe ti iwọ fi joko lãrin agbo-agutan lati ma gbọ́ fere oluṣọ-agutan? Ni ipadò Reubeni ni ìgbero pupọ̀ wà.
16 Why abodest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks? For the divisions of Reuben there were great searchings of heart.
17 Gileadi joko loke odò Jordani: ẽṣe ti Dani fi joko ninu ọkọ̀? Aṣeri joko leti okun, o si ngbé ebute rẹ̀.
17 Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.
18 Sebuluni li awọn enia, ti o fi ẹmi wọn wewu ikú, ati Naftali, ni ibi giga pápa.
18 Zebulun and Naphtali were a people that jeoparded their lives unto the death in the high places of the field.
19 Awọn ọba wá nwọn jà; nigbana li awọn ọba Kenaani jà ni Taanaki leti odò Megiddo: nwọn kò si gbà ère owo.
19 The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
20 Nwọn jà lati ọrun wá, awọn irawọ ni ipa wọn bá Sisera jà.
20 They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
21 Odò Kiṣoni gbá wọn lọ, odò igbani, odò Kiṣoni. Hã ọkàn mi, ma yan lọ ninu agbara.
21 The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength.
22 Nigbana ni patako ẹsẹ̀ ẹṣin kì ilẹ, nitori ire-sisá, iré-sisá awọn alagbara wọn.
22 Then were the horsehoofs broken by the means of the pransings, the pransings of their mighty ones.
23 Ẹ fi Merosi bú, bẹ̃li angeli OLUWA wi, ẹ fi awọn ara inu rẹ̀ bú ibú kikorò; nitoriti nwọn kò wá si iranlọwọ OLUWA, si iranlọwọ OLUWA si awọn alagbara.
23 Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
24 Ibukún ni fun Jaeli aya Heberi ọmọ Keni jù awọn obinrin lọ, ibukún ni fun u jù awọn obinrin lọ ninu agọ́.
24 Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
25 O bère omi, o fun u ni warà; o mu ori-amọ tọ̀ ọ wá ninu awo iyebiye.
25 He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.
26 O nà ọwọ́ rẹ̀ mú iṣo, ati ọwọ́ ọtún rẹ̀ mú òlu awọn ọlọnà; òlu na li o si fi lù Sisera, o gba mọ́ ọ li ori, o si gún o si kàn ẹbati rẹ̀ mọlẹ ṣinṣin.
26 She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen's hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.
27 Li ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ o wolẹ, o ṣubu, o dubulẹ: li ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀ o wolẹ, o ṣubu: ni ibi ti o gbè wolẹ, nibẹ̀ na li o ṣubu kú.
27 At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
28 The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
29 Awọn obinrin rẹ̀ amoye da a lohùn, ani, on si ti da ara rẹ̀ lohùn pe,
29 Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
30 Nwọn kò ha ti ri, nwọn kò ha ti pín ikogun bi? fun olukuluku ọkunrin wundia kan tabi meji; fun Sisera ikogun-aṣọ alarabara, ikógun-aṣọ alarabara oniṣẹ-abẹ́rẹ, aṣọ alarabara oniṣẹ-abẹ́rẹ ni ìha mejeji, li ọrùn awọn ti a kó li ogun.
30 Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
31 Bẹ̃ni ki o jẹ ki gbogbo awọn ọtá rẹ ki o ṣegbé OLUWA: ṣugbọn jẹ ki awọn ẹniti o fẹ́ ẹ ki o dabi õrùn nigbati o ba yọ ninu agbara rẹ̀. Ilẹ na si simi li ogoji ọdún.
31 So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
