1 LẸHIN nkan wọnyi, Jesu tún fi ara rẹ̀ hàn fun awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ leti okun Tiberia; bayi li o si farahàn.

1 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.

2 Simoni Peteru, ati Tomasi ti a npè ni Didimu, ati Natanaeli ara Kana ti Galili, ati awọn ọmọ Sebede, ati awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀ meji miran jùmọ wà pọ̀.

2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

4 Ṣugbọn nigbati ilẹ bẹrẹ si imọ́, Jesu duro leti okun: ṣugbọn awọn ọmọ-ẹhin kò mọ̀ pe Jesu ni.

4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

5 Nitorina Jesu wi fun wọn pe, Ẹnyin ọmọde, ẹ li onjẹ diẹ bi? Nwọn da a lohùn wipe, Rára o.

5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.

6 O si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ sọ àwọn si apa ọtùn ọkọ̀, ẹnyin ó si ri. Nitorina nwọn sọ ọ, nwọn kò si le fà a jade nitori ọpọ ẹja.

6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

8 Ṣugbọn awọn ọmọ-ẹhin iyoku mu ọkọ̀ kekere kan wá (nitoriti nwọn kò jina silẹ, ṣugbọn bi iwọn igba igbọnwọ); nwọn nwọ́ àwọn na ti o kún fun ẹja.

8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

9 Nigbati nwọn gúnlẹ, nwọn ri iná ẹyín nibẹ, ati ẹja lori rẹ̀, ati akara.

9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

10 Jesu wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ mú ninu ẹja ti ẹ pa nisisiyi wá.

10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.

11 Nitorina Simoni Peteru gòke, o si fà àwọn na wálẹ, o kún fun ẹja nla, o jẹ mẹtalelãdọjọ: bi nwọn si ti pọ̀ to nì, àwọn na kò ya.

11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, and hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

12 Jesu wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ wá jẹun owurọ̀. Kò si si ẹnikan ninu awọn ọmọ-ẹhin ti o jẹ bi i pe, Tani iwọ iṣe? nitoriti nwọn mọ̀ pe Oluwa ni.

12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

13 Jesu wá, o si mu akara, o si fifun wọn, gẹgẹ bẹ̃ si li ẹja.

13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

14 Eyi ni igba kẹta nisisiyi ti Jesu farahàn awọn ọmọ-ẹhin rẹ̀, lẹhin igbati o jinde kuro ninu okú.

14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

15 Njẹ lẹhin igbati nwọn jẹun owurọ̀ tan, Jesu wi fun Simoni Peteru pe, Simoni, ọmọ Jona, iwọ fẹ mi jù awọn wọnyi lọ bi? O si wi fun u pe, Bẹ̃ni Oluwa; iwọ mọ̀ pe, mo fẹràn rẹ. O wi fun u pe, Mã bọ́ awọn ọdọ-agutan mi.

15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

16 O tún wi fun u nigba keji pe, Simoni, ọmọ Jona, iwọ fẹ mi bi? O wi fun u pe, Bẹ̃ni Oluwa; iwọ mọ̀ pe, mo fẹràn rẹ. O wi fun u pe, Mã bọ́ awọn agutan mi.

16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

17 O wi fun u nigba kẹta pe, Simoni, ọmọ Jona, iwọ fẹràn mi bi? Inu Peteru bajẹ, nitoriti o wi fun u nigba ẹkẹta pe, Iwọ fẹràn mi bi? O si wi fun u pe, Oluwa, iwọ mọ̀ ohun gbogbo; iwọ mọ̀ pe, mo fẹràn rẹ. Jesu wi fun u pe, Mã bọ́ awọn agutan mi.

17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

18 Lõtọ, lõtọ ni mo wi fun ọ, nigbati iwọ wà li ọdọmọde, iwọ a ma di ara rẹ li àmurè, iwọ a si ma rìn lọ si ibiti iwọ ba fẹ: ṣugbọn nigbati iwọ ba di arugbo, iwọ o nà ọwọ́ rẹ jade, ẹlomiran yio si di ọ li amure, yio si mu ọ lọ si ibiti iwọ kò fẹ.

18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

19 O wi eyi, o fi nṣapẹrẹ irú ikú ti yio fi yìn Ọlọrun logo. Lẹhin igbati o si ti wi eyi tan, o wi fun u pe, Mã tọ̀ mi lẹhin.

19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

21 Nigbati Peteru ri i, o wi fun Jesu pe, Oluwa, Eleyi ha nkọ́?

21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

22 Jesu wi fun u pe, Bi emi ba fẹ ki o duro titi emi o fi de, kili eyini si ọ? iwọ mã tọ̀ mi lẹhin.

22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

23 Nitorina ọ̀rọ yi si tàn ka lãrin awọn arakunrin pe, ọmọ-ẹhin nì kì yio kú: ṣugbọn Jesu kò wi fun u pe, On kì yio kú; ṣugbọn, Bi emi ba fẹ ki o duro titi emi o fi de, kili eyinì si ọ?

23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

24 Eyi li ọmọ-ẹhin na, ti o jẹri nkan wọnyi, ti o si kọwe nkan wọnyi: awa si mọ̀ pe, otitọ ni èrí rẹ̀.

24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

25 Ọpọlọpọ ohun miran pẹlu ni Jesu ṣe, eyiti bi a ba kọwe wọn li ọkọ̃kan, mo rò pe aiye pãpã kò le gbà iwe na ti a ba kọ. Amin.

25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
