Read Job 41
1 IWỌ le ifi ìwọ fa Lefiatani [ọni nla] jade, tabi iwọ le imu ahọn rẹ̀ ninu okùn?
1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
2 Iwọ le ifi ìwọ bọ̀ ọ ni imu, tabi o le ifi ẹgun lu u li ẹrẹkẹ?
2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
3 On o ha jẹ bẹ ẹ̀bẹ lọdọ rẹ li ọ̀pọlọpọ bi, on o ha ba ọ sọ̀rọ pẹlẹ?
3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee?
4 On o ha ba ọ dá majẹmu bi, iwọ o ha ma mu u ṣe iranṣẹ lailai bi?
4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
5 Iwọ ha le ba a ṣire bi ẹnipe ẹiyẹ ni, tabi iwọ o dè e fun awọn ọmọbinrin iranṣẹ rẹ?
5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
6 Ẹgbẹ awọn apẹja yio ha ma tà a bi, nwọn o ha pin i lãrin awọn oniṣowo?
6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
7 Iwọ le isọ awọ rẹ̀ kun fun irin abeti, tabi iwọ o sọ ori rẹ̀ kún fun ẹṣín apẹja.
7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed iron? or his head with fish spears?
8 Fi ọwọ rẹ le e lara, iwọ o ranti ìja na, iwọ kì yio ṣe bẹ̃ mọ.
8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
9 Kiyesi i, abá nipasẹ rẹ̀ ni asan, ni kìki ìri rẹ̀ ara kì yio ha rọ̀ ọ wẹsi?
9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
10 Kò si ẹni-alaiya lile ti o le iru u soke; njẹ tali o le duro niwaju rẹ̀?
10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
11 Tani o ṣaju ṣe fun mi, ti emi iba fi san fun u? ohunkohun ti mbẹ labẹ ọrun gbogbo ti emi ni.
11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
12 Emi kì yio fi ipin ara rẹ̀ pamọ, tabi ipá rẹ̀, tabi ihamọra rẹ̀ ti o li ẹwà.
12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
13 Tani yio le iridi oju aṣọ apata rẹ̀, tabi tani o le isunmọ ọ̀na meji ehin rẹ̀.
13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?
14 Tani o le iṣi ilẹkun iwaju rẹ̀? ayika ehin rẹ̀ ni ìbẹru nla.
14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.
15 Ipẹ lile ni igberaga rẹ̀, o pade pọ mọtimọti bi ami edidi,
15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
16 Ekini fi ara mọ ekeji tobẹ̃ ti afẹfẹ kò le iwọ̀ arin wọn.
16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
17 Ekini fi ara mọra ekeji rẹ̀, nwọn lẹmọ pọ̀ ti a kò le iyà wọn.
17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
18 Nipa sísin rẹ̀ imọlẹ a mọ́, oju rẹ̀ a si dabi ipénpeju owurọ.
18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
19 Lati ẹnu rẹ̀ ni ọwọ́-iná ti ijade wá, ipẹpẹ iná a si ta jade.
19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
20 Lati iho-imú rẹ̀ li ẽfin ti ijade wá, bi ẹnipe lati inu ikoko ti a fẹ́ iná ifefe labẹ rẹ̀.
20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
21 Ẹmi rẹ̀ tinabọ ẹyin, ọ̀wọ-iná si ti ẹnu rẹ̀ jade.
21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
22 Li ọrùn rẹ̀ li agbara kù si, ati ibinujẹ aiya si pada di ayọ̀ niwaju rẹ̀.
22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
23 Jabajaba ẹran rẹ̀ dijọ pọ̀, nwọn mura giri fun ara wọn, a kò le iṣi wọn ni ipò.
23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
24 Aiya rẹ̀ duro gbagigbagi bi okuta, ani o le bi iya-ọlọ.
24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
25 Nigbati o ba gbe ara rẹ̀ soke, awọn alagbara a bẹ̀ru, nitori ìbẹru nla, nwọn damu.
25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
26 Idà ẹniti o ṣa a kò le iràn a, ọ̀kọ, ẹṣin tabi ọfa.
26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
27 O ka irin si bi koriko gbigbẹ, ati idẹ si bi igi hihù.
27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
28 Ọfa kò le imu u sá, okuta kànakana lọdọ rẹ̀ dabi akeku koriko.
28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
29 O ka ẹṣin si bi akeku idi koriko, o rẹrin si ìmisi ọ̀kọ.
29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
30 Okuta mimú mbẹ nisalẹ abẹ rẹ̀, o si tẹ́ ohun mimú ṣonṣo sori ẹrẹ.
30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
31 O mu ibu omi hó bi ìkoko, o sọ agbami okun dabi kolobó ìkunra.
31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
32 O mu ipa-ọ̀na tàn lẹhin rẹ̀, enia a ma ka ibu si ewú arugbo.
32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
33 Lori ilẹ aiye kò si iru rẹ̀, ti a da laini ìbẹru.
33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
34 O bojuwo ohun giga gbogbo, o si nikan jasi ọba lori gbogbo awọn ọmọ igberaga.
34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.
