1 Ọ̀RỌ Oluwa tọ̀ mi wá wipe:
1 The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,
2 Iwọ kò gbọdọ ni aya, bẹ̃ni iwọ kò gbọdọ ni ọmọkunrin tabi ọmọbinrin ni ihinyi.
2 Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons or daughters in this place.
3 Nitori bayi li Oluwa wi niti ọmọkunrin ati ọmọbinrin ti a bi ni ihinyi, ati niti awọn iya wọn ti o bi wọn, ati niti awọn baba wọn ti o bi wọn ni ilẹ yi.
3 For thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;
4 Nwọn o kú ikú àrun; a kì yio ṣọ̀fọ wọn; bẹ̃ni a kì yio si sin wọn; nwọn o si di àtan lori ilẹ: a o fi idà ati ìyan run wọn, ati okú wọn yio di onjẹ fun ẹiyẹ oju-ọrun, ati fun ẹranko ilẹ.
4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
5 Nitori bayi li Oluwa wi, máṣe wọ inu ile ãwẹ̀, bẹ̃ni ki iwọ máṣe lọ sọ̀fọ, tabi lọ pohùnrere ẹkun wọn; nitori emi ti mu alafia mi kuro lọdọ enia yi, li Oluwa wi, ani ãnu ati iyọ́nu.
5 For thus saith the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies.
6 Ati ẹni-nla ati ẹni-kekere yio kú ni ilẹ yi, a kì yio sin wọn, bẹ̃ni nwọn kì yio fá ori wọn nitori wọn.
6 Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
7 Bẹ̃ni ẹnikan kì yio bu àkara lati ṣọ̀fọ fun wọn, lati tù wọn ninu nitori okú; bẹ̃ni ẹnikan kì yio fun wọn ni ago itunu mu nitori baba wọn, tabi nitori iya wọn.
7 Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
8 Iwọ kò gbọdọ lọ sinu ile àse, lati joko pẹlu wọn lati jẹ ati lati mu.
8 Thou shalt not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.
9 Nitori bayi li Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun, Ọlọrun Israeli, wi; Sa wò o, emi o mu ohùn inudidùn, ati ohùn ayọ̀, ohùn ọkọ-iyawo, ati ohùn iyawo dakẹ ni ihinyi loju nyin ati li ọjọ nyin.
9 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
10 Yio si ṣe, nigbati iwọ o ba fi gbogbo ọ̀rọ wọnyi han enia yi, nwọn o wi fun ọ pe, Ẽṣe ti Oluwa fi sọ̀rọ gbogbo ohun buburu nla yi si wa, tabi kini aiṣedede wa? tabi ẹ̀ṣẹ kini awa da si Oluwa Ọlọrun wa?
10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
11 Nigbana ni iwọ o wi fun wọn pe, Nitoripe awọn baba nyin ti kọ̀ mi silẹ, li Oluwa wi, ti nwọn si rìn tọ̀ ọlọrun miran lọ, ti nwọn si sìn wọn, ti nwọn si foribalẹ fun wọn, ti nwọn kọ̀ mi silẹ, ti nwọn kò pa ofin mi mọ;
11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
13 Emi o si ta nyin nu kuro ni ilẹ yi, sinu ilẹ ti ẹnyin kò mọ̀, ẹnyin tabi awọn baba nyin, nibẹ li ẹnyin o sin ọlọrun miran, lọsan ati loru nibiti emi kì yio ṣe oju-rere fun nyin.
13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that ye know not, neither ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night; where I will not shew you favour.
14 Nitorina, sa wò o, Bayi li Oluwa wi, ọjọ mbọ̀, ti a kì o wi mọ́ pe, Oluwa mbẹ ti o mu awọn ọmọ Israeli jade kuro ni ilẹ Egipti;
14 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
15 Ṣugbọn, Oluwa mbẹ ti o mu awọn ọmọ Israeli jade wá kuro ni ilẹ ariwa, ati kuro ni ilẹ nibiti o ti lé wọn si: emi o si tun mu wọn wá si ilẹ wọn, eyiti mo fi fun awọn baba wọn.
15 But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
16 Sa wò o, emi o ran apẹja pupọ, li Oluwa wi, nwọn o si dẹ wọn: lẹhin eyini, emi o rán ọdẹ pupọ, nwọn o si dẹ wọn lati ori oke-nla gbogbo, ati ori oke kekere gbogbo, ati lati inu palapala okuta jade.
16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
17 Nitoriti oju mi mbẹ lara ọ̀na wọn gbogbo: nwọn kò pamọ kuro niwaju mi, bẹ̃ni ẹ̀ṣẹ wọn kò farasin kuro li oju mi.
17 For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.
18 Li atetekọṣe, emi o san ẹsan ìwa buburu mejeji wọn, ani, ẹ̀ṣẹ wọn nitoriti nwọn ti bà ilẹ mi jẹ, nwọn ti fi okú ati ohun ẹgbin ati irira wọn kún ilẹ ini mi.
18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things.
19 Oluwa, agbara mi ati ilu-odi mi! àbo mi li ọjọ ipọnju! awọn orilẹ-ède yio tọ̀ ọ wá, lati ipẹkun aiye, nwọn o si wipe, Lõtọ, awọn baba wa ti jogun eke, ohun asan, iranlọwọ kò si si ninu wọn!
19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
20 Enia lè ma dá ọlọrun fun ara rẹ̀: nitori awọn wọnyi kì iṣe ọlọrun?
20 Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?
21 Nitorina, sa wò o, emi o mu ki nwọn ki o mọ̀, lẹ̃kan yi, emi o si mu ki nwọn ki o mọ̀ ọwọ mi ati ipa mi; nwọn o si mọ̀ pe, orukọ mi ni JEHOFA.
21 Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.
