1 BAYI ni Oluwa wi, pe, Ọrun ni itẹ́ mi, aiye si ni apoti itisẹ̀ mi: nibo ni ile ti ẹ kọ́ fun mi gbé wà? ati nibo ni isimi mi gbe wà?

1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

2 Nitori gbogbo nkan wọnni li ọwọ́ mi sa ti ṣe, gbogbo nkan wọnni si ti wà, li Oluwa wi: ṣugbọn eleyi li emi o wò, ani òtoṣi ati oniròbinujẹ ọkàn, ti o si nwarìri si ọ̀rọ mi.

2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

4 Emi pẹlu yio yàn itanjẹ wọn, emi o si mu eyi ti nwọn bẹ̀ru wá sara wọn, nitori nigbati mo pè, kò si ẹnikan ti o dahùn; nigbati mo sọ̀rọ, nwọn kò gbọ́: ṣugbọn nwọn ṣe buburu niwaju mi, nwọn si yàn eyiti inu mi kò dùn si.

4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

5 Ẹ gbọ́ ọ̀rọ Oluwa, ẹnyin ti o nwarìri si ọ̀rọ rẹ̀; Awọn arakunrin nyin ti nwọn korira nyin, ti nwọn ta nyin nù nitori orukọ mi, wipe, Jẹ ki a fi ogo fun Oluwa: ṣugbọn on o fi ara hàn fun ayọ̀ nyin, oju yio si tì awọn na.

5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

6 Ohùn ariwo lati inu ilu wá, ohùn lati inu tempili wá, ohùn Oluwa ti nsan ẹ̀san fun awọn ọta rẹ̀.

6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

7 Ki o to rọbi, o bimọ; ki irora rẹ̀ ki o to de, o bi ọmọkunrin kan.

7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

8 Tali o ti igbọ́ iru eyi ri? tali o ti iri irú eyi ri? Ilẹ le hù nkan jade li ọjọ kan bi? tabi a ha le bi orilẹ-ède ni ọjọ́ kan nã? nitori bi Sioni ti nrọbi gẹ, bẹ̃li o bi awọn ọmọ rẹ̀.

8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

9 Emi o ha mu wá si irọbi, ki nmá si mu ki o bi? li Oluwa wi: emi o ha mu ni bi, ki nsi sé inu? li Ọlọrun rẹ wi.

9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

10 Ẹ ba Jerusalemu yọ̀, ki inu nyin si dùn pẹlu rẹ̀, gbogbo ẹnyin ti o fẹ ẹ; ẹ ba a yọ̀ fun ayọ̀, gbogbo ẹnyin ti ngbãwẹ̀ fun u.

10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

11 Ki ẹnyin ki o le mu ọmú, ki a si fi ọmú itunu rẹ̀ tẹ́ nyin lọrùn; ki ẹnyin ki o ba le fun wàra, ki inu nyin ba sì le dùn si ọ̀pọlọpọ ogo rẹ̀.

11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

12 Nitori bayi li Oluwa wi, Kiyesi i, emi o nà alafia si i bi odò, ati ogo awọn Keferi bi odò ṣiṣàn: nigbana li ẹnyin o mu ọmú, a o dà nyin si ẹgbẹ́ rẹ̀, a o si ma gbe nyin jo lori ẽkún rẹ̀.

12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

13 Gẹgẹ bi ẹniti iya rẹ̀ ntù ninu, bẹ̃ni emi o tù nyin ninu; a o si tù nyin ninu ni Jerusalemu.

13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

14 Nigbati ẹnyin ba ri eyi, ọkàn nyin yio yọ̀, egungun nyin yio si tutu yọ̀yọ bi ewebẹ̀; a o si mọ̀ ọwọ́ Oluwa lara awọn iranṣẹ rẹ̀, ati ibinu rẹ̀ si awọn ọta rẹ̀.

14 And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

15 Nitori kiyesi i, Oluwa mbọ wá ti on ti iná, ati awọn kẹkẹ́ rẹ̀ bi ãjà, lati fi irunu sẹsan ibinu rẹ̀, ati ibawi rẹ̀ nipa ọwọ́ iná.

15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

16 Nitori Oluwa yio fi iná ati idà rẹ̀ ṣe idajọ gbogbo ẹran-ara; awọn okú Oluwa yio si pọ̀.

16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

17 Awọn ti o yà ara wọn si mimọ́, ti nwọn si sọ ara wọn di mimọ́ ninu agbala wọnni, ti ọkan tẹle ekeji li ãrin, nwọn njẹ ẹran ẹlẹdẹ, ati ohun irira, ati eku, awọn li a o parun pọ̀; li Oluwa wi.

17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

18 Nitori emi mọ̀ iṣẹ ati ìro wọn: igba na yio dé lati ṣà gbogbo awọn orilẹ-ède ati ahọn jọ, nwọn o si wá, nwọn o si ri ogo mi.

18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

19 Emi o si fi àmi kan si ãrin wọn, emi o si rán awọn ti o salà ninu wọn si awọn orilẹ-ède, si Tarṣiṣi, Puli, ati Ludi, awọn ti nfà ọrun, si Tubali, on Jafani, si awọn erekuṣu ti o jina rére, ti nwọn kò ti igbọ́ okiki mi, ti nwọn kò si ti iri ogo mi; nwọn o si rohin ogo mi lãrin awọn Keferi.

19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

20 Nwọn o si mu gbogbo awọn arakunrin nyin lati orilẹ-ède gbogbo wá, ẹbọ kan si Oluwa lori ẹṣin, ati ninu kẹkẹ́, ati ninu páfa, ati lori ibaka, ati lori rakunmi, si Jerusalemu oke-nla mimọ́ mi; li Oluwa wi, gẹgẹ bi awọn ọmọ Israeli ti imu ọrẹ wá ninu ohun-elò mimọ́ sinu ile Oluwa.

20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

21 Ninu wọn pẹlu li emi o si mu ṣe alufa ati Lefi; li Oluwa wi.

21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

22 Nitori gẹgẹ bi awọn ọrun titun, ati aiye titun, ti emi o ṣe, yio ma duro niwaju mi, bẹ̃ni iru-ọmọ rẹ ati orukọ rẹ yio duro, li Oluwa wi.

22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

23 Yio si ṣe, gbogbo ẹran-ara yio si wá tẹriba niwaju mi, lati oṣù titun de oṣù titun, ati lati ọjọ isimi de ọjọ isimi, li Oluwa wi.

23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

24 Nwọn o si jade lọ, nwọn o si wò okú awọn ti o ti ṣọtẹ si mi: nitori kokoro wọn kì yio kú, bẹ̃ni iná wọn kì yio si kú; nwọn o si jẹ ohun irira si gbogbo ẹran-ara.

24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
