Read Isaiah 10
1 EGBE ni fun awọn ti npaṣẹ aiṣododo, ati fun awọn akọwe ti nkọ iwe ìka;
1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
2 Lati yi alaini kuro ni idajọ, ati lati mu ohun ẹtọ kuro lọwọ talakà enia mi, ki awọn opo ba le di ijẹ wọn, ati ki wọn ba le jà alainibaba li ole!
2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
3 Kili ẹnyin o ṣe lọjọ ibẹ̀wo, ati ni idahoro ti yio ti okere wá? tali ẹnyin o sá tọ̀ fun irànlọwọ? nibo li ẹnyin o si fi ogo nyin si?
3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?
4 Laisi emi nwọn o tẹ̀ ba labẹ awọn ara-tubu, nwọn o si ṣubu labẹ awọn ti a pa. Ni gbogbo eyi ibinu rẹ̀ kò yi kuro, ṣugbọn ọwọ́ rẹ̀ nà jade sibẹ.
4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
5 Egbe ni fun Assuri, ọgọ ibinu mi, ati ọ̀pa ọwọ́ wọn ni irúnu mi.
5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.
6 Emi o ran a si orilẹ-ède agabàgebe, ati fun awọn enia ibinu mi li emi o paṣẹ kan, lati ko ikogun, ati lati mu ohun ọdẹ, ati lati tẹ̀ wọn mọlẹ bi ẹrẹ̀ ni igboro.
6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 Ṣugbọn on kò rò bẹ̃, bẹ̃ni ọkàn rẹ̀ kò rò bẹ̃; ṣugbọn o wà li ọkàn rẹ̀ lati parun ati lati ke orilẹ-ède kuro, ki iṣe diẹ.
7 Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
8 Nitori o wipe, Ọba kọ awọn ọmọ-alade mi ha jẹ patapata?
8 For he saith, Are not my princes altogether kings?
9 Kalno kò ha dabi Karkemiṣi? Hamati kò ha dabi Arpadi? Samaria kò ha dabi Damasku?
9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?
10 Gẹgẹ bi ọwọ́ mi ti nà de ijọba ere ri, ere eyi ti o jù ti Jerusalemu ati ti Samaria lọ.
10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
11 Bi emi ti ṣe si Samaria ati ere rẹ̀, emi kì yio ha ṣe bẹ̃ si Jerusalemu ati ere rẹ̀ bi?
11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?
12 Nitorina yio si ṣe, nigbati Oluwa ti ṣe gbogbo iṣẹ rẹ̀ lori òke Sioni ati Jerusalemu, emi o ba eso aiya lile ọba Assiria wi, ati ogo ìwo giga rẹ̀.
12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
13 Nitori o wipe, nipa agbara ọwọ́ mi ni emi ti ṣe e, ati nipa ọgbọ́n mi; nitori emi moye, emi si ti mu àla awọn enia kuro, emi si ti ji iṣura wọn, emi si ti sọ awọn ará ilu na kalẹ bi alagbara ọkunrin.
13 For he saith, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom; for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
14 Ọwọ́ mi si ti wá ọrọ̀ awọn enia ri bi itẹ ẹiyẹ: ati gẹgẹ bi ẹnipe ẹnikan nko ẹyin ti o kù, li emi ti kó gbogbo aiye jọ; kò si ẹniti o gbọ̀n iyẹ, tabi ti o ya ẹnu, tabi ti o dún.
14 And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
15 Ãke ha le fọnnu si ẹniti nfi i la igi? tabi ayùn ha le gbe ara rẹ̀ ga si ẹniti nmì i? bi ẹnipe ọgọ le mì ara rẹ̀ si awọn ti o gbe e soke, tabi bi ẹnipe ọpa le gbe ara rẹ̀ soke, bi ẹnipe ki iṣe igi.
15 Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood.
16 Nitorina ni Oluwa, Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun yio mu awọn tirẹ̀ ti o sanra di rirù: ati labẹ ogo rẹ̀ yio da jijo kan bi jijo iná.
16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
17 Imọlẹ Israeli yio si jẹ iná, ati Ẹni-Mimọ́ rẹ̀ yio jẹ ọwọ́-iná: yio si jo ẹgún ati ẹwọn rẹ̀ run, li ọjọ kan;
17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
18 Yio si jo ogo igbó rẹ̀ run, ati oko rẹ̀ ẹlẹtù loju, ati ọkàn ati ara: nwọn o si dabi igbati ọlọpagun ndakú.
18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.
19 Iyokù igi igbó rẹ̀ yio si jẹ diẹ, ti ọmọde yio le kọwe wọn.
19 And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.
20 Yio si ṣe li ọjọ na, iyokù Israeli, ati iru awọn ti o salà ni ile Jakobu, ki yio tun duro tì ẹniti o lù wọn mọ; ṣugbọn nwọn o duro tì Oluwa, Ẹni-Mimọ Israeli, li otitọ.
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21 Awọn iyokù yio pada, awọn iyokù ti Jakobu, si Ọlọrun alagbara.
21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
22 Bi Israeli enia rẹ ba dàbi iyanrìn okun, sibẹ iyokù ninu wọn o pada: aṣẹ iparun na yio kun àkúnwọ́sílẹ̀ ninu ododo.
22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23 Nitori Oluwa, Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun yio ṣe iparun, ani ipinnu, li ãrin ilẹ gbogbo.
23 For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
24 Nitorina bayi li Oluwa, Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun wi, Ẹnyin enia mi ti ngbe Sioni, ẹ má bẹ̀ru awọn ara Assiria: on o fi ọgọ lù ọ, yio si gbe ọpa rẹ̀ soke si ọ, gẹgẹ bi iru ti Egipti.
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
25 Ṣugbọn niwọn igba diẹ kiun, irunú yio si tan, ati ibinu mi ninu iparun wọn.
25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.
26 Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun yio gbe paṣan kan soke fun u, gẹgẹ bi ipakupa ti Midiani ni apata Orebu: ati gẹgẹ bi ọgọ rẹ̀ soju okun, bẹ̃ni yio gbe e soke gẹgẹ bi iru ti Egipti.
26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea, so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
27 Yio si ṣe li ọjọ na, ni a o gbe ẹrù rẹ̀ kuro li ejika rẹ, ati àjaga rẹ̀ kuro li ọrùn rẹ, a o si ba àjaga na jẹ ní ọrùn rẹ.
27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
28 On de si Aiati, on ti kọja si Migroni; ni Mikmaṣi li on ko ẹrù-ogun rẹ̀ jọ si:
28 He is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages:
29 Nwọn ti rekọja ọ̀na na: nwọn ti wọ̀ ni Geba; Rama bẹ̀ru; Gibea ti Saulu sá.
29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled.
30 Gbe ohùn rẹ soke, ọmọbinrin Gallimu: mu ki a gbọ́ ọ de Laiṣi, otòṣi Anatoti.
30 Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth.
31 A ṣi Madmena nipo dà; awọn ara Gebimu ko ara wọn jọ lati sa.
31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.
32 Yio duro sibẹ ni Nobu li ọjọ na: on o si mì ọwọ́ rẹ̀ si oke giga ọmọbinrin Sioni, oke kekere Jerusalemu.
32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
33 Kiyesi i, Oluwa, Oluwa awọn ọmọ-ogun yio fi ẹ̀ru wọ́n ẹka: ati awọn ti o ga ni inà li a o ke kuro, ati awọn agberaga li a o rẹ̀ silẹ.
33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall lop the bough with terror: and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
34 On o si fi irin ke pantiri igbó lu ilẹ, Lebanoni yio si ṣubu nipa alagbara kan.
34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.
