1 NIGBATI Esra ti gba adura, ti o si jẹwọ pẹlu ẹkún ati idojubolẹ niwaju ile Ọlọrun, ijọ enia pupọ kó ara wọn jọ si ọdọ rẹ̀ lati inu Israeli jade, ati ọkunrin ati obinrin ati ọmọ wẹwẹ: nitori awọn enia na sọkun gidigidi.
1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
2 Ṣekaniah ọmọ Jehieli, lati inu awọn ọmọ Elamu dahùn o si wi fun Esra pe, Awa ti ṣẹ̀ si Ọlọrun wa, ti awa ti mu ajeji obinrin lati inu awọn enia ilẹ na: sibẹ, ireti mbẹ fun Israeli nipa nkan yi.
2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
3 Njẹ nitorina ẹ jẹ ki awa ki o ba Ọlọrun wa da majẹmu, lati kọ̀ gbogbo awọn obinrin na silẹ, ati iru awọn ti nwọn bi gẹgẹ bi ìmọ (Esra) oluwa mi, ati ti awọn ti o wariri si aṣẹ Ọlọrun wa: ki awa ki o si mu u ṣẹ gẹgẹ bi ofin na.
3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.
4 Dide! nitori ọran tirẹ li eyi: awa pãpã yio wà pẹlu rẹ, mu ọkàn le ki o si ṣe e.
4 And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.
5 Esra si dide, o si mu awọn olori ninu awọn alufa, awọn ọmọ Lefi, ati gbogbo Israeli bura pe, awọn o ṣe gẹgẹ bi ọ̀rọ wọnyi. Nwọn si bura.
5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.
6 Esra si dide kuro niwaju ile Ọlọrun, o si wọ̀ yara Johanani ọmọ Eliaṣibu lọ: nigbati o si lọ si ibẹ, on kò jẹ onjẹ, bẹ̃ni kò mu omi: nitoripe o nṣọ̀fọ nitori irekọja awọn ti a kó lọ.
6 And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.
7 Nwọn si kede ja gbogbo Juda ati Jerusalemu fun gbogbo awọn ọmọ igbèkun, ki nwọn ki o kó ara wọn jọ pọ̀ si Jerusalemu;
7 Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;
8 Ati pe ẹnikẹni ti kò ba wá niwọ̀n ijọ mẹta, gẹgẹ bi ìmọ awọn olori ati awọn agba, gbogbo ini rẹ̀ li a o jẹ, on tikararẹ̀ li a o si yà kuro ninu ijọ awọn enia ti a ti ko lọ.
8 Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.
9 Nitori eyi ni gbogbo awọn enia Juda ati Benjamini ko ara wọn jọ pọ̀ ni ọjọ mẹta si Jerusalemu, li oṣu kẹsan, li ogun ọjọ oṣu; gbogbo awọn enia si joko ni ita ile Ọlọrun ni iwarìri nitori ọ̀ran yi, ati nitori òjo-pupọ.
9 And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,
10 Nigbana ni Esra alufa dide duro, o si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹnyin ti ṣẹ̀, ẹnyin ti mu àjeji obinrin ba nyin gbe lati sọ ẹ̀ṣẹ Israeli di pupọ,
10 Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.
11 Njẹ nitorina, ẹ jẹwọ fun Oluwa Ọlọrun awọn baba nyin, ki ẹnyin ki o si mu ifẹ rẹ̀ ṣẹ; ki ẹnyin ki o si ya ara nyin kuro ninu awọn enia ilẹ na, ati kuro lọdọ awọn ajeji obinrin.
11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.
12 Nigbana ni gbogbo ijọ enia na dahùn, nwọn si wi li ohùn rara pe, Bi iwọ ti wi, bẹ̃ni awa o ṣe.
13 Ṣugbọn awọn enia pọ̀, igba òjo pupọ si ni, awa kò si le duro nita, bẹ̃ni eyi kì iṣe iṣẹ ọjọ kan tabi meji: nitoriti awa ti ṣẹ̀ pupọpupọ ninu ọ̀ran yi.
14 Njẹ ki awọn olori wa ki o duro fun gbogbo ijọ enia, ki a si jẹ ki olukuluku ninu ilu wa ti o mu ajeji obinrin ba wọn gbe, ki o wá ni wakati ti a da, ati awọn olori olukuluku ilu pẹlu wọn, ati awọn onidajọ wọn, titi a o fi yi ibinu kikan Ọlọrun wa pada kuro lọdọ wa nitori ọ̀ran yi.
15 Sibẹ Jonatani ọmọ Asaheli, ati Jahasiah ọmọ Tikfa li o dide si eyi, Meṣullamu ati Ṣabbetai, ọmọ Lefi, si ràn wọn lọwọ.
16 Ṣugbọn awọn ọmọ igbekun ṣe bẹ̃. Ati Esra, alufa, pẹlu awọn olori ninu awọn baba, nipa ile baba wọn, ati gbogbo wọn nipa orukọ wọn li a yà si ọ̀tọ, ti nwọn si joko li ọjọ kini oṣu kẹwa, lati wadi ọ̀ran na.

21 Ati ninu awọn ọmọ Harimu; Maaseiah, ati Elija, ati Ṣemaiah, ati Jehieli, ati Ussiah.
22 Ati ninu awọn ọmọ Paṣuri; Elioenai, Maaseiah, Iṣmaeli, Nataneeli Josabadi, ati Eleasa.
23 Ati ninu awọn ọmọ Lefi; Josabadi, ati Ṣimei, ati Kelaiah (eyi ni Kelita) Petahiah, Juda, ati Elieseri.
24 Ninu awọn akọrin pẹlu; Eliaṣibu: ati ninu awọn adèna; Ṣallumu, ati Telemi, ati Uri.
25 Pẹlupẹlu ninu Israeli: ninu awọn ọmọ Paroṣi: Ramiah, ati Jesiah, ati Malkiah, ati Miamini, ati Eleasari, ati Malkijah, ati Benaiah.
26 Ati ninu awọn ọmọ Elamu; Mattaniah, Sekariah, ati Jehieli, ati Abdi, ati Jeremoti, ati Elijah.
27 Ati ninu awọn ọmọ Sattu; Elioenai, Eliaṣibu, Mattaniah, ati Jeremoti, ati Sabadi, ati Asisa.

30 Ati ninu awọn ọmọ Pahat-moabu Adma ati Kelali, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattaniah, Besaleeli, ati Binnui, ati Manasse.
31 Ati ninu awọn ọmọ Harimu; Elieseri, Isṣjah, Malkiah, Ṣemaiah, Ṣimeoni,
32 Benjamini, Malluki, ati Ṣemariah.
33 Ninu awọn ọmọ Haṣumu; Mattenai, Mattatta, Sabadi, Elifeleti, Jeremai, Manasse, ati Ṣimei.
34 Ninu awọn ọmọ Bani; Maadai, Amramu ati Ueli.
35 Benaiah, Bedeiah, Kellu,
36 Faniah, Meremoti, Eliaṣibu,
37 Mattaniah, Mattenai ati Jaasau,
38 Ati Bani, ati Binnui, Ṣimei.
39 Ati Ṣelemiah, ati Natani, ati Adaiah,
40 Maknadebai, Saṣai, Ṣarai,
41 Asareeli, ati Ṣelemiah, Ṣemariah.
42 Ṣallumu, Amariah, ati Josefu.
43 Ninu awọn ọmọ Nebo; Jeieli, Mattitiah, Sabadi, Ṣebina, Jadau, ati Joeli, Benaiah.
44 Gbogbo awọn yi li o mu ajeji obinrin ba wọn gbe, omiran ninu wọn si ni obinrin nipa ẹniti nwọn li ọmọ.
