Ní atetekọṣe Ọlọrun dá ọrun ati aiye.
1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Aiye si wà ni jũju, o si ṣofo; òkunkun si wà loju ibú: Ẹmi Ọlọrun si nràbaba loju omi.
2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Ọlọrun si wipe, Ki imọlẹ ki o wà: imọlẹ si wà.
3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Ọlọrun si ri imọlẹ na, pe o dara: Ọlọrun si pàla si agbedemeji imọlẹ ati òkunkun.
4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Ọlọrun si pè imọlẹ ni Ọsán, ati òkunkun ni Oru. Ati aṣalẹ ati owurọ̀ o di ọjọ́ kini.
5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Ọlọrun si wipe, Ki ofurufu ki o wà li agbedemeji omi, ki o si yà omi kuro lara omi.
6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Ọlọrun si ṣe ofurufu, o si yà omi ti o wà nisalẹ ofurufu kuro lara omi ti o wà loke ofurufu: o si ri bẹ̃.
7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Ọlọrun si pè ofurufu ni Ọrun. Ati aṣalẹ ati owurọ̀ o di ọjọ́ keji.
8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
Ọlọrun si wipe, Ki omi abẹ ọrun ki o wọjọ pọ̀ si ibi kan, ki iyangbẹ ilẹ ki o si hàn: o si ri bẹ̃.
9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
Ọlọrun si pè iyangbẹ ilẹ ni Ilẹ; o si pè iwọjọpọ̀ omi ni Okun: Ọlọrun si ri pe o dara.
10And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
Ọlọrun si wipe, Ki ilẹ ki o hù oko, eweko ti yio ma so eso, ati igi eleso ti yio ma so eso ni irú tirẹ̀, ti o ni irugbin ninu lori ilẹ: o si ri bẹ̃.
11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Ilẹ si sú koriko jade, eweko ti nso eso ni irú tirẹ̀, ati igi ti nso eso, ti o ni irugbin ninu ni irú tirẹ̀: Ọlọrun si ri pe o dara.
12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Ati aṣalẹ ati owurọ̀ o di ọjọ́ kẹta.
13And the evening and the morning were the third day.
Ọlọrun si wipe, Ki awọn imọlẹ ki o wà li ofurufu ọrun, lati pàla ọsán on oru; ki nwọn ki o si ma wà fun àmi, ati fun akoko, ati fun ọjọ́, ati fun ọdún:
14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Ki nwọn ki o si jẹ́ imọlẹ li ofurufu ọrun, lati mọlẹ sori ilẹ: o si ri bẹ̃.
15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Ọlọrun si dá imọlẹ nla meji; imọlẹ ti o tobi lati ṣe akoso ọsán, ati imọlẹ ti o kere lati ṣe akoso oru: o si dá awọn irawọ pẹlu.
16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Ọlọrun si sọ wọn lọjọ̀ li ofurufu ọrun, lati ma tàn imọlẹ sori ilẹ,
17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
Ati lati ṣe akoso ọsán ati akoso oru, ati lati pàla imọlẹ on òkunkun: Ọlọrun si ri pe o dara.
18And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Ati aṣalẹ ati owurọ̀ o di ọjọ́ kẹrin.
19And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
Ọlọrun si wipe, Ki omi ki o kún fun ọ̀pọlọpọ ẹdá alãye ti nrakò, ati ki ẹiyẹ ki o ma fò loke ilẹ li oju-ofurufu ọrun.
20And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Ọlọrun si dá erinmi nlanla ati ẹdá alãye gbogbo ti nrakò, ti omi kún fun li ọ̀pọlọpọ ni irú wọn, ati ẹiyẹ abiyẹ ni irú rẹ̀: Ọlọrun si ri pe o dara.
21And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Ọlọrun si súre fun wọn pe, Ẹ ma bi si i, ẹ si mã rẹ̀, ki ẹ kún inu omi li okun, ki ẹiyẹ ki o si ma rẹ̀ ni ilẹ.
22And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Ati aṣalẹ ati owurọ̀ o di ọjọ́ karun.
23And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
Ọlọrun si wipe, Ki ilẹ ki o mu ẹdá alãye ni irú rẹ̀ jade wá, ẹran-ọ̀sin, ati ohun ti nrakò, ati ẹranko ilẹ ni irú rẹ̀: o si ri bẹ̃.
24And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Ọlọrun si dá ẹranko ilẹ ni irú tirẹ̀, ati ẹran-ọ̀sin ni irú tirẹ̀, ati ohun gbogbo ti nrakò lori ilẹ ni irú tirẹ̀: Ọlọrun si ri pe o dara.
25And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Ọlọrun si wipe, Jẹ ki a dá enia li aworan wa, gẹgẹ bi irí wa: ki nwọn ki o si jọba lori ẹja okun, ati lori ẹiyẹ oju-ọrun, ati lori ẹranko, ati lori gbogbo ilẹ, ati lori ohun gbogbo ti nrakò lori ilẹ.
26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Bẹ̃li Ọlọrun dá enia li aworan rẹ̀, li aworan Ọlọrun li o dá a; ati akọ ati abo li o dá wọn.
27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Ọlọrun si súre fun wọn. Ọlọrun si wi fun wọn pe, Ẹ ma bi si i, ki ẹ si ma rẹ̀, ki ẹ si gbilẹ, ki ẹ si ṣe ikawọ rẹ̀; ki ẹ si ma jọba lori ẹja okun, ati lori ẹiyẹ oju-ọrun, ati lori ohun alãye gbogbo ti nrakò lori ilẹ.
28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Ọlọrun si wipe, kiye si i, Mo fi eweko gbogbo ti o wà lori ilẹ gbogbo ti nso eso fun nyin, ati igi gbogbo ninu eyiti iṣe igi eleso ti nso; ẹnyin ni yio ma ṣe onjẹ fun.
29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Ati fun gbogbo ẹranko ilẹ, ati fun gbogbo ẹiyẹ oju-ọrun, ati fun ohun gbogbo ti o nrakò lori ilẹ, ti iṣe alaye, ni mo fi eweko tutu gbogbo fun li onjẹ: o si ri bẹ̃.
30And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Ọlọrun si ri ohun gbogbo ti o dá, si kiyesi i, daradara ni. Ati aṣalẹ ati owurọ̀ o di ọjọ́ kẹfa.
31And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
